But first, you have to fly to Lukla, one of the starting points of the Everest Base Camp Trek. Because another starting point is Phaplu. One of the greatest highlights of the Everest Journey is you will see Mt Everest (8,848m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516m), Mt. Makalu (8,481m). and Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201m). Out of 10, these are the world’s 4 highest mountains. The closest view of Everest can be had from Kalapathar; this is the best viewpoint.

Another highlight is the Khumbu Icefall. This icefall is located at the edge of the Khumbu Glacier. You will see this on the way to the Everest Base Camp.

The famous villages where you will take a rest are Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorakshep.
